PUBLIC COMMENTS OF PERSONS DESIRING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA (overview) At this time, members of the public may address the Board on any issue within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board that is not listed on this agenda. No action can be taken on an item not on the agenda at this time, but may be referred to the administration or put on a future agenda. In accordance with Board Bylaw 9323, individual remarks will be limited to 3 minutes each, unless otherwise stipulated.
3. 2014-15 Annual Charter School Reports to the Santa Clara County Board of Education
A. (overview) The Santa Clara County Board of Education (County Board) is committed to serving, inspiring and promoting student and public school success. One of the avenues pursued in fulfilling this commitment is the authorization of high quality charter schools. One of the obligations of the Santa Clara County Office of Education is to monitor the charter schools. In addition, the County Board has requested that schools provide an annual update. Each school has been invited to a special board meeting to share information regarding their school. (Toni Cordova)
